For Chii, naturally, as I amused myself with this idea with her, and finally here it is!
This is the first OT3 thing I've written, and actually the first time I've written Gokudera!! XD Sorry if it's kinda fail/awkward.
Rain.
He always hated rain…sure he liked it when there were thunder and high winds combined with it, but not a spring rain…that soft rain that was constant, and sprung up so randomly. It was early morning, so it was a surprise to see that it was raining, but then again, Gokudera Hayato didn’t pick up his pace. After all, he hated the rain, but knew if he ran, he would get just get more soaked than if he was walking at a normal pace. Rainy days always put him in this kind of mood…how strange…
Gokudera always found himself at the tenth’s house…it never failed. Looking up at the name plate, he knew it was a Sunday, so the young mafia boss was probably curled up under his covers, and would be until noon or so. He did love sleeping in on his days off, and often said so. Gokudera wondered what the tenth looked like sleeping, but immediately turned pink at his thoughts. Looking away from the house, Gokudera started to walk on, but stopped when he heard a familiar laugh…a way too familiar laugh.
Rounding the corner, there was his precious tenth and the baseball idiot (where the laughter came from) in raincoats. The brunet was in a pair of orange rain boots as well, blinking. The bomber didn’t have to say anything, because, in true tenth style, the brunet was noticed before he was heard.
“Gokudera-kun!”
Giving the smaller boy a winning smile, he had to think about how cute his boss looked with his rain coat on, hood pulled up so far that all the spikes were down around his face. The baseball idiot gave another laugh, jumping into another puddle and greeted Gokudera, much to his annoyance.
“Tsuna here was up early, said he was worried about something. I happened to be running this morning and passed by!” he said, like Gokudera really cared, “Found him sitting out in the rain, all by himself!”
This was the part that Gokudera cared about. Looking at the tenth he noticed that the other tried to hide his face, but the taller boy leaned down and looked up into the Tenth’s eyes. What could his boss be worried about? Sure, they got home from the future okay, but that was only a few days ago…Tenth was still worried about all that? Was he scared of what they had to do to prevent that future from happening?
“I…I…” he said, his voice shaking, “I don’t want to…ki-“
Baseball idiot looked serious when he faltered, and Gokudera did the only thing he could think of. He took the small boy in his arms and put a hand on the plastic raincoat hood. It was the only thing he could do, when he heard the young boss start crying softly again. The baseball idiot put a hand to their friends back, and Gokudera let him, figuring the Tenth could use the comfort from both of them.
The Tenth was too soft hearted for the Mafia…but for some reason…that was what made him the best man for the job. Everyone said so, Gokudera saying it the most. Glancing to the baseball dork, he nodded as if they shared a weird kind of telepathy. Something to distract the Tenth right now would be good…the rain was coming down harder on Gokudera’s uncovered head and it was starting to piss him off. The black haired teen suddenly grabbed one of the Tenth’s hands, smiling greatly.
“Come on Tsuna, let’s jump in puddles!”
Gokudera sighed, because the Tenth looked at him expectantly, and he took the other hand. This was stupid…however, when they jumped into a big puddle, laughter was heard between them. They looked down and the small teen was laughing away, pulling them to jump in another one. Their hands were joined, and the Tenth didn’t have his hood on. Gokudera couldn’t help but feel a small tug at the corner of his lips at that smile…
Maybe rain wasn’t so bad after all. It certainly helped the sky to wash away worries, right after a storm.
~*~
It still rained when they walked into the Tenth’s home, soaked and laughing. It was strange to laugh, but around these two, it was entirely impossible not too. The Tenth’s mother worried over them and told them to all take off their clothes right there, and go upstairs and hang them in the bathroom. Once all in their underwear, (Tenth in his usual boxers, the baseball idiot in those briefs…) Gokudera sat down at the small table, wondering what they could do.
Tenth started talking about random things from Lambo’s recent attempt at Reborn’s life, to why butterflies were called that…however, Gokudera was taken completely by surprised when the conversation led to kissing, and even more when the Tenth seemed to clam up, not talking about it. After a few moments, it was discovered that the idiot had kissed one person before and the Tenth was now huddling his knees up to his chest. Gokudera had kissed one person before too, he admitted, and that person was the one currently trying to making himself blend in with the carpet.
When both of them looked at the Tenth…Gokudera tilted his head.
The next question was the sole reason why Gokudera’s head landed on the table.
“Do…do you think it’s possible….to kiss two people?”
Tenth?! What are you talking about! Gokudera thought desperately.
The baseball idiot just laughed, telling the brunet that that would be impossible; he would have to have two sets of lips! Gokudera glared as their boss said “oh” and looked away again. The Italian made a face, wondering why Japanese people often didn’t look others in the eye when they spoke, but then again, the Tenth took it to a different level. He rarely looked people in the eye when speaking to them and often looked at the floor.
Leaning over, Gokudera couldn’t help but lift his chin up, kissing him. Sure, he did it in front of the baseball idiot, but for some reason, he found that he didn’t care. His boss gave out a soft sigh, as he did the first time they kissed. Suddenly, when he was pulling back, another pair of lips joined in and this time, instead of the usual soft kisses from the tenth, it was a rough, forceful kiss that could only be from...
“Yamamoto!!” Gokudera said, glaring when he pulled back. The base---no Yamamoto, gave him that stupid grin and said something about wanting to join in too, after all it looked really fun. Gokudera was able to say something when the Tenth made a noise, covering his face.
“Oi, Tsuna…What’s up?”
A small mumble…
Something about ‘enjoying that’….
Gokudera was wondering if his brain was ever going to work right again. Yamamoto, the idiot, seemed to hear it better and immediately swept Tsuna up into one of those forceful kisses and Gokudera suddenly understood…after all, watching Yamamoto, even though he was still an idiot, kiss someone had this…certain want to it. It was hard to explain, he thought, wondering why he suddenly wanted to kiss the other again.
“Tenth…” Gokudera said when they parted. The boss blushed again and grabbed onto his arm gently, smiling with that smile that was so cute and innocent that Gokudera just wanted to hug him right there.
“D-Don’t call me that,” He said, his face turning every shade of red, “Tsuna...call me Tsuna.”
Gokudera was pretty sure that he was never going to function properly ever again. Nodding to the Tent---Tsuna, he gave him a gentle kiss, short and sweet. He heard the small sigh again and smiled, noticing that Tsuna didn’t do that when kissed by Yamamoto. Granted, he wouldn’t have been able to do it, with as rough as Yamamoto was.
Soon, the three of them were doing some weird make out trade off with Tsuna, each moment getting more intense like the rain currently pounding on the glass of the window. Suddenly, lightning struck and Tsuna let out a soft cry, hands sliding over more private areas. This was strange, but exhilarating all at the same time, as two pairs of lips kissed his neck.
So…this is what Longchamp meant…
Somehow, Tsuna thought that maybe this wasn’t exactly what that Tomaso boss meant…
~*~
The rain stopped, finally, leaving a sparse sunlight to peak through the clouds. Voices were in whispers, over a brunet head. They were laying in Tsuna’s bed, somehow, the boss snuggling in between them (rather easy thing to do for someone so small) as they talked sleepily. They were sticky and really, it was kind of gross, but they all were too lazy to do something about it. After all, Tsuna was sleeping so peacefully, they may as well wait.
“Yamamoto,” Gokudera finally said, his fingers in Tsuna’s wild hair, gently rubbing the other’s head with his thumb, “What was the ten---Tsuna talking about earlier…when we were outside…”
It was truly rare to see Yamamoto look serious, and when he did, it was always preceded by something dangerous or worrisome for Tsuna. Sighing gently, he took the hand Tsuna had above the covers, holding it. Brown eyes cast down to the smallest of the three, worried.
“I don’t think he…wants to kill Irie…” Yamamoto said, gently, “I think he’s worried, still, about taking people’s lives.”
Gokudera had sensed that, and really he couldn’t help but think again how Tsuna really was ill-fitted for the mafia. They had to do it though, to make things right…to fix their future. Surely, Tsuna would want that…to fix their future.
Yamamoto must have read his mind, much to Gokudera’s annoyance.
“We will do what Tsuna asks us…” said a stern voice, “Regardless of what it is.”
We will do what Tsuna asks us…
Gokudera thought about what happened moments ago…what happened days ago…the boss passing out from all that fighting. The incredibly happy smile of his when they got to go home…back to safe Namimori…
D-Don’t call me that…Call me Tsuna…
Whatever he asks….
Nodding, Gokudera closed his eyes, hand still in Tsuna’s hair, wondering what today started like. Thinking about how silly it was to be so depressed about rain, he smiled in his half awake state.
“Rain really isn’t so bad, after all…”
