I found out about a national Newsweek essay contest for scholarship money on February 28th that was due the 1st of March. So, always needing money, I decided to enter. I thought up a topic and spent about an hour on the essay and dropped it in the mailbox at precisely 5:31 PM on March 1st. It's cheesy and all-around pretty god-awful
