ABOUT YOURSELF

Describe your personality in five adjectives: Kind, Eccentric, Intelligent, Creative, Intuitive
What are some good points?: First, I like to think I am a good person and a good friend. I am kind and trustworthy, both good things to have in a friend. My moral compass is pretty much pointing north. Also, I am usually true to myself. Though I am a wallflower, I won’t be stifled. I am active when it comes to the fight for animals’ rights and the fight against negative stigma for the mentally ill. I’m also creative.
What are some bad points?: I am eccentric to a fault. I come off to some as being weird in my ways. I am very timid and I have a hard time relating to people. Hardly anyone knows the real me and that’s because I’m too shy to show it.
What are some of your interests, hobbies, and talents?: I was a kickass ballerina back when I was into competitive dance. I play the French horn. I was always gifted at writing essays. As for hobbies, I like to drive. I go on drives to nowhere mostly in the autumn. I do a lot of things with my dog, Sadie.
What's one thing you dislike?: Cruelty
Are you more unsocial or a social butterfly?: Unsocial, for certain.
What do you like to do (ex., on a Friday night)? What would your perfect day be like?: I’d sleep in late, for starters. I would have plenty of time to piece together an outfit and do my makeup and hair to match. I might go out with friends to a movie or to a concert and have a late dinner and drinks afterwards. Usually, this is not how I spend my day. More often than not I have running around to do - grocery shopping or some other chore. Then I stay in with the tv as my friend.
What are some of your goals in life?: My biggest goal is to one day be completely healthy in mind and body, though sometimes there’s not much I can do about it. I also want to further my education.
Are there any political issues or causes you feel strongly about?: I feel most strongly for the well-being of people and animals. For people I’m usually mostly looking after the mentally ill, for animals it is all animals.
What are your favorite books?: My favorite book ever is House of Leaves by Mark Z. Danielewski. It is the perfect blend of sex, mystery, intrigue, and suspense.
Your favorite music (bands or type)?: I like most all music with the exception being really loud, harsh rap music. I especially like string instruments and songs that incorporate classical instruments.
Your favorite time period?: 1920’s, probably
Your favorite clothing item (shirt, dress, pants, corset, stockings, garters, fascinator, etc.)?: I have such a big collection of barrettes and headbands. They’re decorated with fabric flowers, feathers, rhinestones... I love hair accessories.
Which is your favorite decade of the 20th century, fashion- or lifestyle-wise?: In fashion, I think that every era has a different sort of beauty to it. I would have to say that the 1940’s win, though.
Which cities would you most like to travel to?: I’ve already been to Las Vegas and New York City, but I’d love to visit them again. I’d like to visit Paris, Milan, Rome... If I had the money, the jet-set life would be ideal for me!
Do you have any style icons or heroines?: Audrey Hepburn is a big one for me probably just because she always looked fabulous. Another is Maria Callas.
Who's your favorite person in the whole world? Why?: My mother! She is a pillar of strength and such a genuine person. I hope to become more like her.
What do you admire most about people?: I base people’s value on their hearts and how true to them they are.

ABOUT THE SILVER SCREEN

What are your favorite movies?: My favorite movie is the German language Der Krieger und Die Kaiserin. It’s a dark romance between a withdrawn psychiatric nurse and a man tormented by the guilt he places on himself for his fiance’s suicide. It’s beautiful. Dark, but beautiful.
Your favorite classic movies?: White Christmas! I love that movie. Also, A Touch of Mink is near the top of my list. Anything with clothes and cute romance, really.
Who are your favorite actresses (from any period)?: Marion Cotillard is one. I really, really adore Franka Potente, Cate Blanchett, Rosemary Clooney, Anne Hathaway and Audrey Hepburn.
Who are your favorite actors?: Benno Furmann, Liam Neeson, Vincent Perez, and Moritz Bleibtreu
Do you think you would enjoy being in Hollywood?: I would most definitely enjoy it!
Would you be more of a recluse, an enigma, like Greta Garbo, or a flamboyant socialite, an open book, like Marion Davies?: I’m more at ease on my own, so I imagine that might make me an enigma to some. I don’t feel comfortable opening up at all.
What do you like about past eras of Hollywood? (This can be as brief or elaborate as you like it.): Mostly the glamor, I’d say. The aesthetics. Hollywood is lacking in that nowadays, I think.
What's a quote that you like by an actor?: “Multitasking? I can't even do two things at once. I can't even do one thing at once.” - Helena Bonham Carter. A-men.

How about a quote ABOUT an actor or actress?: "What is needed to become a real star is an extra element that God can give you or not. You are already born with it. You can't learn it. God kissed the face of Audrey Hepburn, and there she was." - Billy Wilder

ARE YOU MORE

SHY or OUTGOING?: Shy to an extreme
VAIN or MODEST?: I’m very aesthetically oriented, but I would call myself modest.
STRICT or RELAXED?: Strict
NEUROTIC or UNTROUBLED?: Neurotic!
MELANCHOLY or HAPPY?: I’m quite a bit of both, but if I had to choose I would say melancholy.
Desirous of WEALTH or FAME?: I would prefer wealth over fame.
SUCCESS or ACCLAIM?: Acclaim!
AFRAID OF FAILURE or EAGER FOR THE ADVENTURE?: Both, I would say.
ETHEREAL or DOWN-TO-EARTH?: Ethereal
METHODICAL or IMPROVISATIONAL?: Methodical
ARTSY or CONVENTIONAL?: Artsy
QUIET or UNINHIBITED?: Quiet as a mouse.
COMPLEX or SIMPLE?:Complex
COMEDY or TRAGEDY?: More tragedy, though it’s close.
PRIMA DONNA or HUMBLE?: Humble
FOLLOWER or LEADER?: Neither, really. I’m a loner. I don’t have anyone to follow me or to lead.
FEMME FATALE or GIRL-NEXT-DOOR?: I’m a sort of a shy femme fatale. I’m like an unintentional maneater.
Do you do it for A FULFILLING LIFE or IMMORTALITY?: Immortality!
