There's a quiet knock on the doorframe. "Hello?" a familiar soprano voice calls. "Anybody home?"

Naraht's at the door. The Dendromys has been exchanged for the hoverchair in the name of not causing overcrowding. The mermaid hasn't gone quite as casual as her Mythbusters t-shirt, opting for a green tank-top with a see-through white shirt over it.

She peeks in. "This certainly looks like the right place, Johnny," she says to the tall man beside her.

"Naraht, Johnny, come in!" Sara grins, waving them in from where she is finishing up some last-minute preparations.

Johnny smiled, "Nice to meet you, Sara, and Happy Birthday." He was carrying a giftwrapped present and a card for Naraht so it wouldn't get wet.

Naraht grins as they enter. "Hello, Sara. And I'll start off the natal good wishes. Happy birthday." She looks around at their masterful set-up. "My! It looks like we're certainly going to be having fun tonight. Who all is coming?"

A familiar blond head pokes around the door. "Hello?"

"Catherine, come in!" Sara greets her at the door with a smile. "How are you?"

"Great to see you and Barry..." Catherine hugs her tightly--and presents her proudly with a wrapped present. "Happy birthday!"

[OOC: No worries. I'm darting back and forth between two games myself.]

"Thank you! Should I worry what this is?" It's a perfectly valid question. She hasn't forgotten the pranks that had been pulled during her time at the lab.

"Barry, this is my dear friend Catherine Willows. Catherine, Barry Allen."

Guppy peers around the door to see if the room is ready, then comes in with Helen, who has a package wrapped in a gold cloth and is wearing a turquoise strapless knee length dress. Guppy is in a smart suit with a dark green tie, and is carrying a small flat package and a bottle of wine.

[ooc: Helen-mun isn't here yet. Guppy-mun will have to go to bed at midnight GMT (*headdesks*) but will be around again tomorrow.]

"Ah, welcome. Good to see you, Guppy.

"And how long has it been, Helen?" Barry smiles effusively as he shakes Guppy's hand.

Guppy smiles. "Good to see you too. Nice place you have here."

He hands Barry the bottle of wine.

"The perks of being on staff, I guess. Though compared to Mel and Lilly's room, this is an SRO hotel room on the Bowery." He takes the wine.

"Hmmm. I think this is good stuff. I'll chill it a bit and open it later."

Gil and Jack enter the room, one carrying a plant and the other with several wrapped packages in his arms.

Gil smiles at Sara, saying 'happy birthday' softly.

Jack beams at Sara and kisses her cheek. "Happy birthday, dearest."

"Thank you, both of you." She smiles at both before laughing at the sight of the plant. "It'd better not say From Grissom."

She's only partially joking. "Catherine is interrogating Barry and Naraht is here with her boyfriend Johnny. I expect others to be by."

"It says From Gil and Jack, I believe--is that better?"

And there's a set of Irish twins wandering in, one with the majority of the booze, the other carrying a couple of cases and a flat box on top of those.

"We too horribly late then, deirféar?"

"Normally, I would say yes, but you brought the booze and I'm inclined to be forgiving." She goes over and helps them set things down.

Needless to say, Naraht is delighted to recognize one of the twins.

"Murphy!" she calls out as she comes over. "I didn't know you were coming. It's good to see you."

He grins. "Likewise on both counts. Would of been here sooner, but we kind of took our time workin' out who'd carry what, right Conchúr?" The last bit directed behind him.
