something not-quite-impulsive, but definitely new
I've been thinking, and in some cases talking, more or less seriously for some time about getting a tattoo. I'd picked a location (on my body, I mean) and settled on a design - or at least a visual element that I really wanted in a design, because it was meaningful to me. Following on from my deliberate recommitment to mindfulness practice and the pursuit of joy, today I completed day 5 (without any skipped days!) of guided meditation in the morning before work. coaxing the technology along

I'm writing this from home, where I have now set up my laptop on the dining room table and am attempting to coax it into performing (yet another) full backup of approximately everything possible.
