you're awesome. and being an adult (imo) is just dealing with situations that arise in mature ways, like doing things so that it's best for everybody instead of just yourself (which would be immature).

I concur with the above statement. Glad to read that things are well. Life is only as good as we allow it to be despite the imperfect situations we are slowly being removed from. The stream flows steady on towards our dreams and we will get there if we allow it to carry us. No need to paddle, just enjoy the ride! ;)

I can agree with that to an extent..but not all rivers take us where we want to go. I used to completely buy into the whole "Life is a river, theres no escaping or changing fate or circumstance" however, I have to say that sometimes you just have to start paddling.

Being a grandma who hosts tabletop boardgames ain't a bad way to be.

"Maturity" is something that ya have to define for yourself. Taking a cookie-cutter approach to it will only make you miserable.
