On writing (or trying to write) fanfiction

Just an odd little thought I had today.  Getting inspiration to write a fic is a bit like trying to coax out a wild animal.  An idea starts to form in your brain like a wild animal approaching timidly, and you have to stay so very still and quiet or it will leave.  The idea forms further into plot, scenes, characters.  The animal gets closer, takes ( Read more... )

But I definitely know where you're coming from on that one. I've made the mistake of paying too much attention to my ideas far, far too many times. -.-; *sigh*

lol, so true...

Although plot bunnies attack me when sleeping, and I end up writing fics that people like in a daze before I fall asleep at 2am. Only short ones. less that 2000.

The condition is hard to reach... =_=

And long fics go NOWHERE. *ded* X_x

Uugh plot bunnies attack me when I'm trying to sleep, so I have all these thoughts and ideas bursting in my brain and I'm going "nooooo! I want to sleeeeep!" ^^; And long fics, yeah, they've just kind of petered out for me just now . . . *sigh* I'll have to get back to them at some point too.
