Ars Amatoria sent out a challenge, many years ago, wanting fanfic authors to do a 40-drabble collection of their favorite Ranger couple, and sent us on our merry way.
This was my first ever attempt at fan-fiction, and I'm still vaguely proud of it. It was a GREAT exercise in playing with different prompts/themes, and a chance to poke at various writing styles, without a lot of work and thought and pondering. So I decided to try my hand at it. She later posted up a part duex, which had another 20 styles. Tackled that one too, it's Keep Holding On.
So here is my first set of 40, all around 500 words, and they can really be read in any order. I'm posting them in the order they were written, but feel free to jump around. Couple is Jack and Z from SPD, because they were great together.
