we missed you guys this new year's. it was really hard for me to believe that the last one was a whole very-long and really-just-only a year ago, somehow. kind of crazy how much and how little has changed all around. yet when I start to freak out a little about how much went on in our lives down here, I look at you and jim's past year and my mind boggles by comparison.

I'm entirely to self-conscious, but at least i'm aware that i'm self-conscious. I also work too much to win other peoples' approval, and too often act in accordance with how i want people to perceive me rather than with what i want.
