One logic board later, we have a computer again. Thank goodness. We actually did pretty well without one, though I am more impressed with Jim's tolerance of not being connected -- I was able to check email (and Bookmooch, and had Google) at work at least. Glad to hear your life is going well! :-)

I don't understand why your mom would try to get you to go back to Christianity when you already have a valid and beneficial spiritual path. Is it to save face amongst other relatives or is she genuinely concerned about the path of your soul? Maybe direct her to this if it's the latter: http://www.christianuniversalist.org/articles/history.html. There's so much in the Bible and the early church to support this! Also, did you know that Wesley and other founders of Methodism had universalist leanings? I didn't - but that might be another thing for her to research.

You are one of the kindest and most moral people I know - she's raised you well and should have no concerns...*hugs*
