(no subject)
Just when I thought Bleach: the 3rd Phantom couldn't get any better, I finally beat post-game level 30.
Not only did Grimmjow show off Pantera (and my character, with her bankai, was the only one who even had a chance to hit him! everyone else had a 000% chance, what?)--
Not only that, but I unlocked him. Grimmjow, who can use his release form, is an unlockable character. This is the best 5:30 AM ever.
His default level is 35. He seems to be able to learn a few kidou moves, but I am definitely not fluent enough to translate them.
And apparently, he can have support with:
- the female character (who I've been playing as)
- Aizen (picture used is Hueco Mundo-era, but I think you can only play with his "fukutaichou" incarnation -- who was pretty badass, and had some seriously amazing damage-reduction goin' on there)
- Ichigo
- Shinji?!
- and Orihime
Oh my fucking god, I want to see a special attack with Aizen and Grimmjow. That would look so badass.
I need to train more teams of characters, not just the ones I love. XD;; And I'd also like to play the male character's route, which I'll use for the walkthrough that I really should be making over break. Armed with naught but a Japanese-English dictionary program and my limited knowledge, I will triumph! :O *strikes a dumb pose*
...Sleep would be an awesome plan, but I just took my last final this morning and had my last class and man, it's good to be free. XD
EDIT: WAIT A GODDAMN FUCKING MINUTE. HOLD THE FUCKING PRESSES. I JUST UNLOCKED HUECO MUNDO AIZEN, TOO.
I saw the katakana for Grimmjow's name pop up and assumed that I'd unlocked him, which looking at the character selection confirmed -- and I saw one more name that I didn't recognize immediately, so I ignored it and overlooked and-- wow. I am impressed, game. Highly impressed.
Hueco Mundo!Aizen can have support with the female character, Seigen (former 5th division captain, an OC for the game), Grimmjow, Momo, and... Hitsugaya? Not Gin? ...I am highly disappointed, game. Unless playing the male character's route allows me to unlock Hueco Mundo!Gin and then HM!Aizen can have support with him, because that would just be logical.
HM!Aizen also starts out at level 35 and has a few kidou moves that he can learn along with other things. I actually recognize some! "Raikouhou," an awesome electric move I've been using with Soifon, and "Kurohitsugi," that crazy black coffin move that he uses at the end of the Soul Society arc. (He also begins with Soukatsui).
(Interesting fact: Momo is the only other character I've seen so far that can learn it, too. Not even fukutaichou!Aizen can. But please don't quote me on it, since I haven't actually looked at the full possible movesets for everyone yet. I'm really nervous about choosing moves since I don't understand all of it fully.)
This game is worth every goddamn penny if you're a big dork like me~.
Wayyyy-overdue edit: It turns out that there are a ton of unlockable characters, haha, I just didn't meet the battle conditions to unlock them. Who they are and how to get them is easily Google-able. XD;
