This is the point where one should make some stupid comment about Mac sucking, but I know nothing about their OS, so I won't :P Still you would think the price of an older OS would drop quite a bit.

I have a 12" iBook G4 (square, solid white, not the "clamshell") that runs on OS X Tiger (10.4.9). That's as far as it will go. I was lucky enough in Christmas 2009 when my mom got me a MacBook Pro. It currently runs OS X Lion (10.7.3). So.. I don't use my iBook anymore, it's technically in retirement. It was a faithful and dependable buddy from 2003 to 2009, I often think it ran better than my current Mac (it seems more glitchy at times). I personally think it might be the Intel processor Macs now use.. but just my opinion. :-p

But yeah, if it's a 2003 model iBook, it should be able to run Tiger (10.4), and I don't see any reason why it wouldn't be sold at a cheap price nowadays.
