Yet another TV meme
Found this ... somewhere, I can't remember (methinks I need to learn the art of bookmarking), and since I like to talk about my TV habits, I figure, what the hell.
Day 01 - A show that should never have been cancelled.
At first I thought Firefly, but then ... Well, half the reason it's such a beloved show, I think, is because it was cut short so cruelly rather than despite it. If it had gone on for, I don't know, five seasons or more, chances are it would have got pretty old, pretty fast.
For me, the show that shouldn't have been cancelled is probably Stargate Atlantis, because they weren't finished telling the story yet. TPTB just got bored of it, and decided, hey, let's make a new, sexier, edgier version of our show, and threw it onto the scrapheap, as it were. I know the last season of SGA was less than stellar, but the frustrating thing about it is that I think it would have been better if they'd decided to renew it for another season. But what do I know, I'm apparently not part of their demographic.
