A couple weeks ago I bought a raw fleece at Shenandoah Valley Fiber Festival. Its been sitting in the closet since then, waiting for me to finish up enough school work to start processing it. That's part of the reason to buy and process my own fleece. That and it supports local farmers and sustainable, humane agriculture.

I am combing it, I made a couple of nests this afternoon with some of the locks that were dry. Next time I will take photos of that process and post it. I didn't really plan on combing today, but it was a nice afternoon and I took it outside.
