Tomorrow, Morgan and I are packing up our lives and moving down to Santa Cruz. This is a huge step for us, and I'm starting to freak out a little. I just found out that a dear friend of mine is in the hospital with what appears to be severe strep throat, possibly with something else on top of it, too. While he is a teenage boy and has a hearty immune system, I am still very worried about him and am distressed that I can't visit him due to my chemical sensitivity issues ( Read more... )

I just got a phone call from the Family Student Housing office in Santa Cruz. Morgan and I were approved for an apartment!

Thank you to everyone for your good thoughts for us. I've been stressing out like crazy about this, and it's a huge relief to know that this is taken care of. We have a home now!
