so i just got back from a week a sea, and i have a terrible case of dock rock. the first 3 days were beautiful and flat but the last 2 were terribly windy and waves were 5-8ft! computers and equiptment were flying everywhere regardless of how many bungee cords were strapped around them. but it was an awesome cruise and the food was great (and free ( Read more... )

damn.. 3 wahoo? I am jealous, and thousands of other fisherman would be too! Wahoo's are a real treat to catch.

What were you using, and how far out were you?

umm, im not sure how far out we were, but we were in 80m of water west of the tortugas. we were just long lining off the back of the boat while we were doing surveys, just a really long rope and a 7" green fish lure with like 3 hooks on it(dont know the technical term)
