Yes, it's gloomy and drizzly, but I'm LOVING it because it's a great reason to loll around in my brand new GIANT bed, on brand-new sheets, pillows and covers.

I'm a huge fan of the bamboo eucalyptus Tencel micro-satin-stripe sheets from BB&B -- they're soft, cool, and last through a billion washings :)

(I'll see if I can find a link for the brand -- their website is atrocious.)

Yes! I'm a fan.. I think I have a couple fo those in the linen closet for the older bed!

I actually really like the Vera Wang sheets at Kohl's. I only buy them when they are half off and I have a coupon (preferably a 30% off coupon, but you know how that goes). I like a slightly crisp, heavier sheet, so they're my favorite. They also stand up to kitty claws reasonably well. I do not expect my sheets to not get plucked by cat claws, so a sheet that can hang together in the face of needle feet is the sheet for me.

You might like the sheets I just bought at Kohls.. heavy, sturdy but soft in a slippy sort of way that tells me they'll soften up a little more. They are woven and even are a different shade from one side to the other. On sale today, too with a further sale code yes20

Thank you, bb! I don't have a favorite name brand, but I've found some amazing deals on luxurious sheets at Tuesday morning. 600+ threadcount stuff for like $50 a set.

Gods, yes! Tuesday Morning is da bombdiggity for sheets. Only place I could ever find NICE Calif King size.
