I finally found East of Eden! The movie with James Dean hurrah! I have borrowed it from a girl that I don't know very well but she used to be Brian's sort of manager for his band but isn't really anymore. We were getting some of his equipment from her house and I happened to glance over at some movies on a stand and I said is that Steinbeck with

i remember that as a really forceful film. it's julie harris too, i think, and she's great in it. please report as to how you like it once you watch it!

I've never seen the movie, but as I've mentioned a zillion times, East of Eden is my favorite book ever! I eagerly await your movie review... :)
