Beautiful. Filled with obscure hints of people and places, that made me stop for a minute to think and try to unravel what was going on.

I love the small memories of the lost family, and the double-edge presence of the lotus. One really cannot know if they are a curse or a blessing in the end.

I felt very touched at the idea of Kanda being stripped of his language and customs and pieces of mind. But I am strangely happy and proud of him: the strenght of character, the hard eyes and the no-nonsense attitude fit him so well after all this.

Linali's presence in all this was also a very tender thing, and I loved to bit the part of their first mission, with their rather awkward movements and weak fighting skills. But mostly, I loved how Kanda was wrapped around her, bullets showering them. It's a blatant proof of Kanda's real self.

Great great story. And the hiatus is about to finish. *happy*

This is just beautifully crafted and so poignantly showed us how Kanda lost everything that mattered and still, inside, he retained his strength of character. *cries for Shizuka!* Loved how he learned to meditate years earlier and then Lenalee joining him and loved that Mugen communicates with Kanda.

Awwww =) Everyone is much more eloquent than I am. I usually end up doing odd hand-wavey things and grinning like a loon...which is kind of what I'm doing now o.0;; (Not grinning at Kanda of course; most of the fic!people need cuddles and fluffies and uh, probably to kind of have not been there...=( ) But eeeee!
