It is 8:05 AM, Saturday morning. We are headed to Louisiana to say our last good byes to my dad. He is on life support and it says in his will that he does not wish this.
I am not sure when we will be back but we will.
A Common Man is passing the torch on to another. Pray they are just as good. -

Dad is getting better. Seems that having the IV in is helping to flush the toxins the meds left out of his system. His speech is getting better as well as his ability to move himself. Mom said he's communicating better than he has in months and is working well with the staff at the nursing home ( Read more... ) -
Sigh
Finally got a hold of my mom last night after not being able to contact her for two days. Seems they rushed my dad to the ER where they sat for twelve hours before he was admitted. Seems he has kidney stones which explains the constant back pain as well as being impacted. They've admitted him and put him on an IV hoping to flush the kidney ( Read more... ) -

It seems I can not bring myself to call my mom to see how my dad is doing. Her answer is always the same and I find that I have gone into a deep depression due to the fact I can't do *!&@#$ about it ( Read more... )
