Classical music never quite seems to excite me the way it ought to. Always did like Carmina Burana, though.

I stumbled across an account of Italian pureblod lines in the back of the library today. Did you know that you are related to the Borgias about seven generations back? I feel that, in all fairness, I ought to have been the one with ties to that particular bloodline. And there is a northern line called Siederin which is traceable up to about 1700... One can only wonder.

An idle question, perhaps inspired by the account of a certain infamous Borgia lady; what do you think about fidelity?

You would like that one. I'm rather fond of it myself. At present, I'm in the mood for something strictly instrumental, though. A piano concerto. Entirely defeats the purpose of requesting Pansy's violin, but the Slytherin common room seems to be lacking a grand. Pity.

You forget. Mother and Father had me memorizing bloodlines at the same time as I was learning Latin. Ironic, though, considering any time I spend a prolonged period of time under the sun is more than enough to testify as to the delicacy of my skin. I throw tantrums, I'm told. I pity those who have to put up with me.

Fidelity? It depends upon what each person requires of the other. If there is deceit intermingled with the infidelity, then it's bound to end badly, so it depends upon whether one is willing to take the risk. If both parties have an understanding, then I don't see the reason for such a thing to be needed.
