I'm Potter, and I like to cross things out

all

down

the page

and pretend that they constitute as journal entries when they really don't.

They save me a detention, however, and this had better do the same.

Blaise, I received an owl from Mother regarding the trip. It appears Charis will be joining us. Don't look too excited.

You could have just come down here and told me, prat. I will let Tamira know. And I shall restrain my excitement to the outmost of my abillity.

Not that I shan't enjoy seeing the darling brat, naturally, but any particular reason for her to join us? If your mother intends for a sensible person to come along and keep an eye on us, I suspect Charis may be a poor choice. I'm tempted to say she may even have the reverse effect.

And why did you smear half the page? Surely a missive on the subject of your cousin's arrival wasn't as hard to phrase as all that.

From the seventh floor? Mm, no, this seemed a far more convenient alternative. Or was that a subtle indication that you've gone through all of the books at your disposal and are, in fact, terribly bored and craving my company?

As for the choice of chaperone, all I can say is that Mother is inexplicably fond of her, though I suppose that could be said for us all. Charis sends her greetings, though I'm sure she'll be a lot more enthuiastic about it when she gets here on Friday. She'll be leaving with us.

Testing a theory. Utterly pointless, since I added in the message to you, but there you have it.

Would you agree to come down if I abandoned all subtlety and just said yes?

I do look forward to seeing her. I find myself inexplicable unable not to enjoy the company of spoiled gorgeous blondes. Though, if she is as... enthusiastic about my compnay as she was last time, I may have to get Tami to distract her so I can breathe.

How unlike you to perform pointless acts.

Why don't you try it and see what happens?

Yes, you do seem to have a terrible penchant for us, don't you? We're delightful company that way, you must admit. And she wouldn't have gone and attacked you if you had simply let her sit on your lap in the first place.

A lot of things that I do seem pointless la
