It's been a few days since we arrived here at Oishi-sama's home, and most everything's been going alright. His family has been very kind to me, much as they were over parents weekend, and Oishi-sama has relaxed some probably relief at being away from Lioncrest. He doesn't seem particularly pleased at the prospect of the Christmas party though. I'm not sure why, the one at Lioncrest was wonderful, even if I wasn't quite certain what I was supposed to be doing.

Then again, Yuushi-sama and Shishido are attending, so perhaps that's it.

I had been intending to wait to open my gifts until Christmas itself (which reminds me - Renji-san, thanks very much for the chocolates, but why on earth that book?), but Oishi-sama was rather insistent that I open them beforehand. And no wonder - tickets to a concert in Berlin from Tezuka-sama, and the plane tickets to get there from Oishi-sama, with time to go down and visit my family, as well. I haven't seen them in a year and a half I can't believe it - it's far too generous of both of them, I know both of them are from wealthy families, but can they really afford to spend that much on gifts for a butler? And Tezuka-sama already gave me the Stradivarius, and Oishi-sama is offering to pay for my lessons, which are surely even more expensive now that we're away from Lioncrest...

On the topic of lessons - I met with Yoshida-sensei yesterday, and he said he'd take me as a student again, while I'm staying with Oishi-sama. We also discussed music school and my chances of getting in. I'm still not quite sure what to think. I'll have to discuss it with my parents - thank goodness I'll be seeing them soon, I've a feeling it would be a very long phone call, and none of us really has the time for that sort of thing.

Thank you, everyone, for the gifts. They're wonderful - I was going to wait until Christmas itself to open them but...circumstances changed a bit, and I opened them early. Thank you Eiji, for making it a rabbit and not a dog.

Yuushi-sama, was that really necessary? You're not helping Oishi-sama's opinion of you any. Even if some of the recipes do look interesting...
