Had an interesting weekend. Went down to Wisconsin Dells to hang out with Benzorz's family whilst they were on vacation. It was kinda weird to be there without having Benzorz with me, especially since I only met his family once before, but overall I had a pretty good time. Had my eye exam today, woo. While my appointment was at a comforting 2pm, the fact that I had to go somewhere made me, as usual, sleep like shit. The exam itself went pretty well; my vision is still 20/20 and it looks like I won't be needing glasses for a very long time. :D The doc had to put in the dilating drops to check out my inner eyeballs, so ( Read more... )

Being tired sucks. I had to get up earlier then usual because I had a doctor's appointment. See, when I know I have to get up, I usually can't sleep for shit since I keep waking up to check the clock. I do believe I've caught the bug going around the apartment. My throat was a little scratchy yesterday, but when I woke up today it was way worse. I talk funny. Not cool.

The past couple weeks have been interesting, though not always in such a good way. I miss my Benzorz a lot; the first week I couldn't sleep for more then 5 hours at a time since the bed felt so weird. Yesterday at about 10pm I had to say goodbye to my Benzorz for the next 3 and a half months so he can go become a military machine somewhere in Missouri. Feels like it just started, and now I have to go to work tomorrow. Well, technically I go to work in 16 hours, but you know what I mean. Didn't do a whole lot, though I did finish and amazing book. Go read Interred With Their Bones by Jennifer Lee Carrell. It's kinda like The Da Vinci Code, only replace Jesus with Shakespeare and is 10x better.
