Randy’s parole officer came by last night to do a home/curfew check at about 9:45/10ish. No big deal. Everything is good and Randy’s been following the rules to a T. This morning I woke up and began freaking the hell out. Lets backtrack a bit here. I take Randy to work every morning and Gracie and I get home around 8:15 and go back to bed. Well I have much better news this time around. Randy got a new job working on a dairy farm doing milking and he starts on Monday. We’re both ecstatic. He grew up farming and a job outdoors is just what he needs. We were hoping and hoping and apparently he interviewed well enough and he got great references from the people he listed. I haven’t updated because I really didn’t feel like going into the frustration I’ve been dealing with lately. Randy quit his job last week because he couldn’t physically handle standing in one spot for 8+ hours with no rotation because of his back problems. Well our 20 week ultrasound has come and gone and we’re still no closer to knowing whether we have a boy or girl joining our family in September. He or she had their legs together in a frog-like position so there was no way of knowing. My doctor did say we’ll try again next time, but I’m sick of getting my hopes up to find out only to get nothing. ( Read more... )

As the title says, Randy got a job today. It’s at the textile factory as a production worker. He starts off at PT with 20 hours a week and moves up to FT after the probationary period. It’s only about 3 miles away so it’s incredibly convenient for transportation purposes. He went and took his drug test immediately after the interview. One drawback ( Read more... )
