Manifest Report 2010

The week leading up to Manifest was worthy of a novel. I didn't sleep, had an accident which left me with a tiny bone fracture, disbanded the Trinity Blood group (for those who don't follow dA, yeah, the group's not happening anymore), rushed a costume which wasn't even mine, and had my womantiems start the day right before the con. T__T

Speaking of Hellenic Republic, I want to go try out the Press Club. How much was the food at Hellenic Republic?

Ahaha yeah it's one of those things where you headdesk on the day and then when you look back at it it's kinda funny xD

Hellenic Republic was standard pricing, not too cheap but not too expensive either. We got a small bowl (about 12cm diameter) of octopus for $20, a plate with 3 small slices of kingfish for $25, and a mediumish plate of vegies for $25 as well? From my memory. I'd like to try out the Press Club too sometime but I imagine it must be a lot pricier D8

Oh yay! And yea, it's pretty hard to find my LJ generally. A lot of my friends I know irl don't use LJ so it used to be a really kinda online only part of my life. But gradually meeting more and more people who actually have one. xD

It sure sounds like a pretty epic adventure when you look back. (one of those times where as long as things turn out alright, it's funny and cool afterwards. xD) Good memories!

Sounds about normal I guess for a restaurant like that. I think I might try Press Club when I'm got a bit more money and some people to share with. xDD

Sucky about the flight though. Those problems are NEVER fun to deal with.
But awesome that everything worked out hahah.

Yeah wasn't great at the time >_>;; but I guess I look back on it and some of it (apart from the missing the flight part) makes me lol xD I guess that's how it always is though.

You need to come to Manifest again next year! I need an excuse to take a break from work and travel with friends 8D <3

KAITO-KUUUUUN much love for you desu ~ <3 Like I said please don't be sorry for getting sick, I've been in that position SO MANY TIMES and had to have people take care of me too so I know how it feels Dx understand that we want to take care of you when we see you sick though, we don't see it as an "obligation" or whatever so don't feel bad <3 <3 <3 (Also hahaha sorry about those heels orz).

Again? Haha I'm sure you wouldn't want to do the velcro, wig & getting sick thing again ... but as for everything else, definitely <3 we need to do that BL cosplay soon y/y? ;)

Aww, I missed you! I looked out for you, but I must have seen every Vocaloid cosplayer at Manifest except you. ;A; But then, my visibility wasn't so great on either day, I probably missed a lot. Your costumes were amazing! And wow, Agito group, I remember seeing them outside with the vuvezelas, ha ha, epic! And so many shenanigans. Love con stories. Especially ones involving fake blood. XD

Tiger airways are pretty awful, I've never heard anyone say anything nice about them. Probably not that much more expensive to fly Jetstar, and they at least take care of you if flights get cancelled due to bad weather or something. :/

Gahhh I was looking out for you as well, I'm really sad I missed you ;__; I guess in the chaos of "omg we have to do this now" for both days it was a given though that I would miss a few people OTL. Can't wait to read your Manifest report and see your photos!

Ahaha the vuvuzelas XD I was hanging out with the Agito group for all the time that I wasn't alone and I wanted to break those vuvuzelas 'coz they kept blowing them lmao XD

My friends actually have positive stories about Tiger, although I've heard bad reviews from everyone else *__* oh well, I was trying to be cheap and you get what you pay for I guess Dx
