I Don't Do Enough Horror Photoshoots.

No, I haven't been cosplaying like a crazy person - apart from going to Supanova I've actually done nothing in these last couple of months. I just have a lot of backlog from past shoots that I haven't posted yet XD

Anyway, here's something a little different - I did a cosplay for Tomie two months ago.

YOU HAVE NOT EXPERIENCED THE BEAUTY OF JUNJI ITO HORROR.

His characters may wear boring things like school uniforms but all his stories are amazing. He's ruined all other horror manga author/artists for me because his work is pretty much the best of anyone's I've seen.

And yes, after this photoshoot I do hope to do more Ito horror someday. Even if it's just boring clothes!

Such an eclectic cosplay, but awesome stuff as usual. The makeup is incredible! The later shots look like they could have been screen grabs straight from a live action adaptation.

Haha love your icon! And yeah, it's funny because we freaked out a little kid last time we did a horror shoot (our Fatal Frame one) too lol ... XD

Thanks! Yeah this character has a lot of "special properties" (growing/regrowing multiple/new heads and limbs, multiplying herself, changing someone else into herself, growing out of objects/surfaces, making people mysteriously want to cut her up, not dying etc) so I wanted to cover at least a couple of those in this shoot. :) And yes my friends did a great job helping me! So glad you enjoyed the shots. <3

Love hearing stories about when people mistake your cosplay for a real accident. :D But man these photos are amazing!!!

Haha it's not the first time it's happened either! Last time we did a horror shoot ( our Fatal Frame shoot) this little kid saw K in her scary ghost cosplay and started screaming and crying lol. I feel so sorry for these people that we end up scaring but at the same time it's so funny XD
