I don't even want to *think* about the problem-potential in that.
What's on the far side of the ducks he was shooting at? Shotgun pellets can go a surprisingly long way, and they fan out good and far once they leave the shell.
Any chance he'll be hung by his toes if caught?

I don't know the full story, but from what I gather, the ducks have been fed by the residents there, and as a result are becoming a nuisance. This was the manager's plan to deal with it. I hope he is sacked at the very least for all the violations, both legally and morally!!!
I don't know where the gunman came from, but any legitimate club member knows that you don't shoot water fowl this time of year. They are nesting for gods sake!!!
As for the proximity of both the school grounds and a public park -- kids, dogs, etc -- across the river, well it doesn't bear thinking about. As it happens, he was shooting over the roof of the apartment building when I spotted him, which is endangering the residents and their property.
If I ever find out the rest of the story, you will be the first to know. I just hope they hand me the rope!!!! Grrrr!
