Just ranting as usual...

Call me crazy but I've been reading a lot of petitions and what not and I can't say I side where people think I should. For example some people want disposable plastic bags removed from use in stores and want reusable cloth bags to be substituted for them ( Read more... )

I agree on all points.

I'm quite annoyed that Austin is getting rid of plastic AND paper bags in March 2013. I'm shocked this city does not charge per bag of garbage. Or maybe they do and I just feel the wrath through what I pay in these "garbage fees" that the apartment complex charges.

Hemp products would be amazing... So would a mass extermination.

My brother told me about what Austin was doing followed by him telling me he would either going drive to another city to shop, OR shop in Austin, but not bring any bags and make the grocery bagger carry everything to my vehicle and load it.
Did I mention he can be a bit of an ass ;^)

I can't even remember what my garbage fees were in Texas. What are they where you are?

I'd sooner go for the hemp products as it's a bit of a wonder-plant with a bad rep due to propaganda. I doubt it will ever happen but here's to hope eh?

I always point to the population being a problem as I tend to think it causes plenty of problems but some how after that I'm told I hate children...crazy.

Ha! I would do the same thing, but then I'd have to bag everything when I get home in order to bring it in without taking 50 trips to the car. I guess I live close enough to Cedar Park to shop there, but it's still out of the way. I wonder if this rule is going to bleed over into the surrounding cities that consider themselves part of Austin. Who knows ( ... )
