Waiting for the press conference!! ^_^ Watching a live stream and I don't know a ounce of Swedish!! XD But I don't care, I'm watching for the announcement!! XD

Eeeeeeee! I didn't know it was time already! *bad royalist* :D Reads the official statement, lols at the usage of the word "nedkom" because it sounds hilariously ceremonious. I wonder when we'll find out the name of our next-next queen!
I'm half mad that the baby didn't wait two more days! I would have had a future queen born on my birthday! XD So what does nedkom mean? If it sounds ceremonious, well, they're royalty! Ceremonious words fit them! XD
Tomorrow or the day after tomorrow is when we'll find out her name. That's what Prince Daniel said in the conference or so says everyone in the royal forum I'm watching. Maybe I'll find out tonight! ^_^
Well, if you break the word down into components, it literally means "down-came". I actually kind of had to look for a translation on tyda.se, because I wasn't sure what it means, but apparently it means "give birth to". The more usual word in Swedish is "föda".
According to aftonbladet it seems they're going for a name with traditions to the family. *crosses fingers for possibility of Roman numerals* Come on Christina II, or Ulrika II!! (The names of our only other Queen regants of history, Victoria is going to be the third one.) I know it's completely silly to think that, but to me it sort of strengthens the idea of royal tradition and cementing Queen regants. Eeee, two Queen regants in a row!! (Maybe Victoria II?)
