Switchblade Symphony. Gorgeous song. :)
I think it's entirely possible to have acquaintences and friends of totally different backgrounds and belief systems as well as politics. I may not be able to hold a coherent conversation about those topics with them, but it's a mutual 'agree to disagree' clause. :)
Shall we add each other and get to know each other? I'm always up for meeting local people, especially when we have similar interests. :)
In reply to the other comment that just hit my inbox: I'm up for it. Evenings and weekends are best, as I'm a full-time student at CCCC, plus a parent fulfilling that lovely single-parent role thanks to deployment. This weekend is out, though, as I'm headed to Atlanta for a show.
Eh..sorry for that. Comments are immediately screened when someone comments (In case some info shouldn't be seen by everyone. I'm anal about stuff like that!).
Yes! Someone else who loves them! *le sigh* That just made you even more cool, if I say so. :D
I agree on that; one of my good friends (on LJ) and I hold way different views on one of the more explosive topics, but we tend to discuss it in a mature level. I love moments like that. :)
Go ahead and add me, and I shall do the same for you.
As for weeknights and or weekends, I'm good on weeknights. Weekends are spent with the hubby. Have fun in Atlanta this weekend!
Do you mind me asking you where you found the Keith "Matt" Maupin banner? I tried to find it myself but the link didn't provide any info on how I could put that on my journal.
Actually, I found that through a friend of mine, shinzakura.
You're more than welcome to save it to your harddrive and put it up with the URL linked to the image. The more people know about Sgt. Maupin, the better.
Where did you see me at (It came out as a bad username tag.)...if it's "vickievalencourt", then you probably did see me there (I concur on the "whackjob" comment.). ^^
Anywho, nice to meetcha; let me get to know you before I add you, alright?
Whoops, I didn't notice that. I think we should report her/him (it?) to LJ abuse, because it's annoying. I just wish they were not on my friend of list. ;(

I see that you are the wife of a Marine... that's good enough for me. Thank-you for your service, and what you do for your country.
