The busy! It's all over the place!

Faire over the weekend, then a short trip to Oregon, and today I'm babysitting. I keep forgetting that we're already half way through the week!

Have any inside knowledge about what's up with the costume contest? It's says the weekend of May 9th & 10th is the costume contest weekend, but not which day or if it's both days, etc... I've entered (and won) before at the Southern Faire costume contest, and my mother really wants me to enter this year again (new dress, only 3 years since I last entered).

Yes, weather up here has been goofy for sure! I wasn't sure why my fingers were so cold biking to work the other day...till I saw that the hill that looms over my workplace was covered in snow. Ah. Yes. Perhaps I shouldn't have been in such a rush to plant tomatoes and basil???

Looking forward to having your shiny energy field up in this neck of the woods!

Oh, dude, my dad's basil took quite a beating. We were out and about when it started hailing. But he still had them in containers, so once we got home he moved them to safety. =)

Our lone teenage basil is in a hanging bucket (upside down) so it's kind of protected from above, at least. We have baby seedlings just starting to germinate though, I am hoping that the projected 70F temps will encourage the whole vegetative flock, as it were!

I should chronicle my Faire fun.... for I left it last weekend glowing with all the glee of what went on. :D

I do however need to find a decent picture of me that's been taken... There're only a few I'm in, and they're from the same day on the well, where I'm very tiny in the background. XD I love the ones of you guys!

I know what you mean! Every single day of Faire I leave wanting more. I mean, I'm tired, sure, but I always leave in a jubilant state.

Oh, and thanks! We see a lot of Richard throughout the day, particularly in the morning because he's there before the opening gate show. Makes for a lot of pictures. But we still have a lot of weekends to go! =)
