Character's Age: 26

What form will your character's NV take?
Reim's NV will be his small notebook that he wrote all of his notes in. It looks like a plain, leather bound book with a small ribbon attached. Easily, it could be mistaken for just a planner, or maybe even a novel if the viewer isn't looking hard enough. The pen with his notebook acts like a stylus and can easily be replaced with another, should the need arise.

Abilities
Character's Canon Abilities:
March Hare  - The March Hare is Reim's contracted chain. It has the appearance of a large march hare wearing a top hat and a coat, and doesn't make an appearance unless Reim summons him. The March Hare gives Reim the ability to fake his own death. Should Reim even feel threatened in battle, Reim can use to March Hare to appear as if he actually died. He'll seemingly quit breathing, moving, and his heart with seem to stop. Reim is not conscious for anything that happens while using this power. He's in this state for a random amount of time each time he uses the ability. Should Reim suffer physical damage before falling into this state, his wounds won't actually heal at all.

Gunner... sort of - Though he would prefer not to, Reim is able to use a gun. It's hard to say how accurate he is, as he's only used it close range.

Conditional: If your character has no superhuman canon abilities, what dormant ability will you give them?
Only if he's not able to use his chain:
Paper manipulation - He's able to control paper into doing what he wants. Though he'll probably only use this power for stacking and sorting, it is possible it use it as a weapon. Using paper as ninja stars, or just giving people really bad paper cuts.

Weapons:
A small six shooter pistol, about the size of the palm of his hand.

History/Personality/Plans/etc.
Character History:
Childhood
Reim worked for Rufus Barma and stayed at his mansion for years. At eleven, Reim was sent to the Rainsworth estate to give Lady Cheryl a love letter from Rufus. He was told not to return until Cheryl gave him a response to said letter. So, he spent the next two years taking care of Sharon Rainsworth, waiting for an answer. It's in that two year span he met Xerxes Break. It's hard to say what happened between this point and the beginning of Pandora Hearts, as most details weren't made public, but at some point, Reim returned to the Barma estate, contracted the March Hare as his chain, and became a member of Pandora.

Grim
In Reim's first appearance, he's at the Rainsworth estate given Sharon an update on an illegal contractor that escaped from Pandora, Grim. It's hinted in his dialogue with Break and Sharon that they were at least familiar with each other before this conversation. The extent of their friendship is unknown at this point.

Vincent Nightray, Oscar Vessalius and Oz's Return
Reim's next appearance is several chapters later (it's hard to tell what happened to him in this gap), in the halls of Pandora, explaining that the meeting Oscar was supposed to be attending was postponed because Cheryl Rainsworth, Sharon's grandmother, suddenly became ill. On their way to wait elsewhere, Oscar stepped on Vincent Nightray, who was sleeping in the hallway. After totting Vincent back up to his room in Pandora, Vincent and Oscar have a conversation about the Grim incident, where Grim was killed by Vincent's hands because he was saving a child. Vincent explains that he won't reveal that the child was Oz Vessalius in the report because Pandora doesn't need to know of his return. They both realize that Reim is still in the room. Vincent blames the slip of Reim's lack of presence.

Meeting Interrupted
The next day, the meeting once postponed was started up again. In the middle of said meeting, Oz Vessalius and Black Rabbit appeared seemingly out of nowhere, left the room and past Reim in the hallway as they attempted to escape from the building. Oscar pulled Reim aside and told him to capture Oz and B-Rabbit on his own because Oscar couldn't do it without getting interrupted. Reim ran off, trying to figure out what to do.

The Disappearance of Sharon Rainsworth
While wandering the halls of Pandora trying to figure out how to take Oz and B-Rabbit into custody, he's pulled into a room by Xerxes Break, who revealed that he returned using Gil's chain, Raven. Break wanted to know what happened to Sharon. Reim explained that Sharon disappeared the day before. Though they were supposed to have a meeting then, Cheryl faked her illness so they could start a search for her without the rest of Pandora knowing. That meeting was rescheduled to today. The very same meeting that Oz and B-Rabbit just interrupted. After learning this, Break went to his quarters and locked the door. Reim pounded and yelled from the other side for some time until finally leaving to find Oz and B-Rabbit again.

Jack Vessalius
When Reim does find Oz again, Oz was standing at the top of a large staircase, and B-Rabbit had shifted into her human form, Alice. Everyone in the area was quiet because, as Reim said, "There was somebody else in Oz's body that amazed us." That other revealed himself as Jack Vessalius and explained that Glen Baskerville was still alive and the Tragedy of Sablier could happen again. After Jack explained a bit from the Tragedy of Sablier one-hundred years ago, Reim revealed that the body was that of Oz Vessalius. One Pandora member said, "It can't be fake if Reim said so." A few minutes of conversation later, Oz passed out.

Vincent, Break, and Alice's Memory
The next morning, after Oz wakes up and has tea with Break, Reim storms into the room, nearly killing Oz with a door in the process. After apologizing several times over, Reim is finally introduced to Oz as Break's friend. Then Break explains that Sharon was taken by Vincent and would only return her after Break destroyed the memory fragment that he retrieved from the Cheshire Cat's lair, which is where they were when Sharon was originally taken. Break ended up destroyed the memory for the antidote for the poison Sharon was given. Vincent tried to throw the antidote off the balcony, but Echo, Vincent's servant, caught it instead. Break got the antidote and they returned to Pandora. As Break was explaining all this, they arrived at Sharon's room. When she woke up, Sharon beat Break up for saving her because she was too weak to protect herself. After Sharon starts crying, Reim and Oz quietly leave the room. The two of them end up talking about how Break was harsh and hardly approachable when he first showed up at the Rainsworth estate, and how it was Shelly, Sharon's mother, that made him smile again.

Rufus Barma and Kevin Regnard
After running into the Baskervilles at Lutwidge Academy while visiting Ada Vessalius (Oz's sister), Oz requests a meeting with Rufus Barma to get some answers about the Tragedy of Sablier. When they go to meeting Rufus Barma at an opera house, Reim is the servant that escorts Oz, Break, Gilbert, and Alice to him. Break sees through Barma's illusions created by his chain and destroys them with his chains ability. Break starts to cough up blood. When Barma moves to attack Break, Reim steps in the way and takes the blow instead. When Barma goes to strike again, Break gets in the way and the attack reveals the illegal contractor mark on his chest that made a full turn. Break passes out. Barma reveals that Break is actually Kevin Regnard, an illegal contractor that killed 116 people before being dragged into the Abyss. When Break wakes up, he tells the group of how he met the Will of the Abyss and asked her to change the past. She released him from the Abyss after she believed Break could grant her wish. Then, Break was found by Sharon and Reim at the Rainsworth estate. After all this is revealed, Barma wants to take Break back to Pandora to interrogate him more. Oz steps in the way and tells Barma that he can manipulate things under the name of Jack Vessalius. When Barma moves to strike him, Cheryl gets in the way. After being told by Break that Barma made an illusion of her without her permission, she pulled him away and started beating him with a fan. Reim chased after them in a small effort to save Barma.

Questions of Sablier
Some time after Break's past is revealed, while at Pandora, Reim runs into Oz (quite literally) in the middle of a conversation with Break and Sharon about current day Sablier. Break takes the opportunity to fluster Reim, poke him in the back to make him fall, with his arms full of books, on top of Oz. Then, Break runs away with Sharon, leaving Reim with Oz. Oz asks Reim if it's alright to go to Sablier. Reim says no because it's sealed off by Pandora and there's reports of poison gas in the area. Oz sees through Reim's lies, whispers something terrifying in his ear, and flees, leaving a wibbly Reim on the floor. Break finds him this way and discovers that Oz found out Reim was lying.

Sablier Aftermath - Blindness
Three days later, Break wakes up after wearing himself out in Sablier. Reim is the first to see him when he awakens, followed by Sharon, who uses a fan to beat the crap out of Break. After Sharon starts crying, Reim tells Break to apologize. That's when Oz, Alice, and Gilbert Nightray arrive. They talk about the situation in Sablier, and how there was a strange, unsettling earthquake. After their short conversation, Break tells everyone to leave because he's tired. When Oz goes to leave, Reim tells him that Break will be fine. Oz leaves and Reim reveals knowing that Break is blind. He takes on all of Break's reading and writing assignments. When Break says he's doing it as the Rainsworth attendant, Reim tells him that he's actually doing it because they're friends and Break's just being stupid. Reim leaves.

Isla Yura and the Party Invitation
Whether it was Rufus Barma's orders or not, Reim allowed Gilbert to peek in his notebook to see Barma's schedule. They wanted to know when Barma was meeting Isla Yura, a religious cult leader who came into town after his cult symbol showed up in some files in a box Oz received from a man after they found the second seal. The first seal was destroyed in Sablier, which is what caused the earthquake. After they'd left the old man, there was another earthquake, which was how they knew the second seal was destroyed. They hoped that Isla Yura would know where another was. In a meeting with Yura, not involving Reim, Oz told Yura he couldn't go to his mansion because he hadn't actually had his coming of age ceremony yet. Yura suggested they have it at his mansion, and Oz agreed.

Yura's Party
Reim attended Yura's party in the name of Rufus Barma, though the main reason he attended was to help Break. He and Break went aside and had a small conversation about how Break should tell Sharon that he's blind. Then, Reim went to make rounds to see if he could find the third seal Pandora believed was in Yura's mansion. On his search, he runs into Lily Baskerville, gets knocked unconscious and pulled into a different room. When he wakes up, Lily says that she wants Reim to release his chain so her chain, Bandersnatch, will have something to play with. Reim says that his chain is weak and useless. Lily sees her and Reim as alike and tells Reim that she was chosen to be a Baskerville after she thought of herself as useless to everyone. Then, after Reim reveals his friendship with Break, Lily says that she wants to be Reim's friend. Reim sees her as a little child until he asks her about Glen Baskerville. She said that she'd do whatever Glen asked. Reim summoned his chain, the March Hare, as a distraction in order to shoot Lily in the back of the head. He turned away to find Break, thinking that he killed her, and ended up getting attacked by Bandersnatch. Thinking there was no other way out, Reim used the March Hare's ability to fake his death. When he woke up, no one was there. He went searching for Break and found him fighting the Baskervilles. Acting as a distraction again, he yelled out to Lily. When she looked over, Break moved to kill her and Fang got in the way, dying instead. Lily ran with Lottie Baskerville. Reim falls on the ground and Sharon takes him away to safety.

Point in Canon:
Reim will be taken from Retrace 60 - when he's healing from the wounds he obtained from Lily Baskerville three days after Yura's party. The extent of his wounds are unknown, but it's noted that they aren't life threatening. Just for this sake - I'm going to say that he's still bandaged up, he can't lift his left arm above his head without a large amount of pain, and his back is still sore. He also has stitches still.

Conditional: Brief summary of previous RP history: N/A

Character Personality:
No Backbone - Reim is typically the last person to ever get in an argument. This is mainly because Reim lacks any form of a backbone. Others tend to use him, especially for work around Pandora. In other instances, he'll be completely ignored because he just won't say anything in a conversation. He doesn't seem to mind either most of the time, however there are cases he'll get flustered and yell at others.

Easily Overlooked - Reim is easily passed over when a conversation is going on between two people. Vincent Nightray once attributes this to Reim simply "being forgetful", while Sharon once says that he's so ordinary that he doesn't look like he's doing anything suspicious. It's not that he lacks personality, but rather that he's usually pretty quiet and agreeable at most of the things that happen around Pandora.

Polite - When speaking to others, Reim is very polite, using ending phrases such as -sama to address people. The only person he ever uses a nickname for is Xerxes Break, and that's only when others aren't around. This mainly comes from living in an aristocratic society, where informality is frowned upon.

Emotions on his Sleeve - Reim is a very emotional person, and it shows, especially when he's flustered, angered, or even just a little irritated. His face will always give his emotions away. He'll blush, yell, break his formal speech, and tear off his glasses and clean them. He's not any good with stress at all, so when something breaks his normal routine, he'll fall to these expressions, despite his want to compose himself.

Clean and Orderly - Reim likes things orderly. Completely orderly. Routine in his daily life is important, and is written down in his notebook daily. When something breaks his routine, or a mess is created in his space, he freaks out. He'll easily show his panicked emotions in these states and frantically try and order things back together again. His notebook is always on him and is constantly getting filled with more and more notes. No one else ever gets to look at his notebook. Ever. When someone does look at the notebook, their look into the pages is planned, not inadvertent.

Loyal - Reim has a strong sense of loyalty, mainly for two parties: Xerxes Break and Pandora. His loyalty to Break mainly stems from their childhood, and the both of them being so close to Sharon. Reim, despite arguing over matters, will often end up doing Break's paperwork. When Break went blind, Reim took on all of Break's paperwork, including his reading assignments. When Break questioned this, Reim told him that he was doing this because they were friends. He also went to Yura's party just to help Break.
Reim's loyalty towards Pandora comes from working there for years, and may have something to do with his connection to Rufus Barma. Though Reim shot Lily to protect himself, Reim also says that he did so because she killed some of the other Pandora workers. The mountains of paperwork that tower in his office show just the amount of work he does to make sure everything at Pandora is working properly and sorted.

Trustworthy - Reim is a very trustworthy person on several notes. First, he's very intelligent. When he says something, it's usually correct. When Jack Vessalius revealed himself, Reim was the one to say that this was, indeed, the hero of Sablier. Other Pandora members instantly believed him. This trust is attributed to the insane amount of paperwork he does for Pandora, and, perhaps, his connection to one of the dukes, Rufus Barma.
Second, he doesn't have a lot of secrets. The only one that he kept for the longest time was the March Hare's true ability, and that was only because Rufus Barma told him not to tell anyone. He's pretty open about what he believes in, and tends not to hide it from people who ask, not that they do. This quality can make him appealing to some characters, as Reim doesn't have any questionable motives for others to worry about.

Conditional: Personality development in previous game: N/A
Character Plans: Being that he's still injured and probably frightened enough by chains as it is, I'll make him arrive just before the sun starts to set. That will, hopefully, give him enough time to get found and directed inside before something in the Darkness kills him. In his first arrival, he'll attempt to take notes in his notebook, only to find himself broadcasting by mistake.

For far-off plans, I'm going to try and get him a job working around paperwork, since he's really good at it, whether it be cataloging inventory or writing detailed reports of incidents pertaining to the business's needs. If he finds his cast mates, he will attempt to stay close to them because he already knows them well, and they're his only source of normalcy, even if they are far from normal.

Appearance/PB: Reim looks as if he's in his mid-twenties, with a tall frame (standing at 185cm, or 6'1'') and a slender body with just enough muscle to cope without strain. When he appears, I'm going to make him wear the vest, white shirt, black slacks, and boots of the Pandora uniform (pictured below with jacket as well). He'll also still be bandaged, but they won't be noticeable until he wears something a little more revealing.

First Person Sample
-- Finding the NV--

[Reim has flipped on the video by mistake. It's unclear what's going on, but the camera is moving, only catching his eyes up. Flustered words leave his mouth as the end of a pen appears on the screen. The screen turns black.]

[Moments later, the screen comes to life again, Reim's entire face showing this time. The sputters and looks down at the area below the video show that he has no idea the video is broadcasting.]

What... what is...?

[There's a shift in the video, and now only the top of Reim's hair is visible.]

This is my notebook, but...

[The video shifts again, this time focusing on Reim's torso up. Both of Reim's hands are shown in view as he pulls off his glasses, pulls a white handkerchief from his pocket, and begins to clean them, the small squeaks coming through on the video clearly. His cheeks are tinged with pink as squeaks resonate from his glasses.]

Calm down Reim. This has to be some sort of dream or a joke. Yes, a joke. Xerxes just stole your notebook and replaced it with this... this thing.

[Though he's told himself that, he isn't calming down. The squeaks only get faster and faster, almost getting louder with each swipe of cloth against the lenses.]

Third Person Sample
Reim furrowed his brow as he started at the NV, irritation easily shown in his strained face and tightening hands. His pen was gone. The room was so small, and there was nothing in it except furniture. How could he lose his pen for his NV? A fantastic way to start day two of his stay in Siren's Port.

Frantically, Reim started his search, opening every drawer and cabinet. Then, looking under everything that the pen could have rolled under. Nothing. It's not like the pen could grow legs and walk off. Well, actually, it could. Reim didn't know anything about Siren's Port, other than what the greeter told him, and he wasn't all that useful. Maybe, if the place warped his notebook, it could warp his pen also.

After looking for ten minutes and not finding the pen, Reim sighed and approached the NV. Maybe there was a way to use it without the pen. He opened the cover and the screen came to life, welcoming Reim back to the network before opening the main menu. He pushed lightly on the screen with his finger, but nothing happened. After a few more tries with nothing happening, Reim closed the NV again and sighed. He'd ask the land lady for a pen.

Reim left his room and quickly found his way to the land lady. "Excuse me," he said, catching her eyes. "Do you have a pen I can use? I've misplaced mine." The lady stared at him for a moment before reaching down onto the desk and handing him one. He smiled and took it lightly. "Thank you." He turned back to his room, opened his NV, and used this new pen to navigate the menu. It was uncomfortable in his hand.

First things first, he needed to find a better pen. He opened up the broadcast menu and began to write a short blurb about needed a new pen.
