Wouldn't being lying, cheating, money-grubbing fascists out to line your coffers with the blood, sweat and tears of children count as preparing them for entering the work force?

Given I spent Easter having an Australian Public School teacher with a degree in *biology* trying to persuade me that evolution is a lie, I wouldn't worry about the media.

Funny, now the stories say "parents and education unions" have raised concerns. Last week it was the evil teacher unions riding roughshod over the poor parents who eagerly wanted testing.

Also "A spokesman for Federal Education Minister, Julia Gillard, says school principals are responsible for ensuring the security of the tests.

He says if anyone has any evidence of cheating they should report it to the Education Department."

Huh? Accuracy? Reliability? What's that got to do with us? we're just government.
