It had not been a good day for Blues. After Enzan's discomfort and unwillingness to talk to him, not even the younger Enzan had been able to alleviate his doubts. Enzan returned from his second trip to the Nexus and even stopped at a few places before returning home. He entered the apartment quietly, feeling very nervous about all of this.

He had been avoiding their room thinking Blues might like some time alone but now Enzan wanted to talk. Enzan walked over to their room and opened the door,

"Blues?" He froze seeing that no one was in there and he began to think that no one had even slept in the bed that night.

Enzan leaned against the door, trying to think where Blues might have gone. All he was doing was coming up empty handed.

He then remembered about the other Enzan, maybe he knew something. Enzan stopped by the spare bedroom's door and quietly knocked after some hesitation.

"Enzan?"

Blues flinched slightly at the knock, and at the sound of Enzan's voice, but rolled over to answer the door with a subdued voice. "He is not here, Enzan-sama."

Enzan relaxed a little, relieved that Blues was here.

"Well, I actually wanted to talk to you." Enzan leaned against the door frame not opening the door, "Can we talk? Please?"

"If you want to," Blues said neutrally. He wasn't going to run away from Enzan, but neither was he going to pretend that nothing had happened. "I am not going anywhere."
