It had been a few days since Blues had come back home. Things were still a little stiff and awkward, but late at night, after Enzan had gone to sleep, Blues stayed up, thinking. He thought about what his alternate had said, about Enzan, and about their relationship

Enazn stirred a little, wanting to stay asleep but something was quietly nagging him in the back of his mind to wake up. He reached a hand up and rubbed an eye, seeing it was Blues who woke him up, Enzan opened both eyes.

"Is something wrong?"

"No," Blues said, smiling as he watched Enzan wake up. It was the little gestures, the eye rubbing and the small yawn, the sleepy look in his eyes, that confirmed Blues' realization in his mind. Blues moved his hand up the side of Enzan's face until his fingers slid into Enzan's hair. He loved the feel of Enzan's hair. "I just wanted to tell you something."

Enzan blinked, a little confused. What couldn't wait until morning? Though, if nothing was wrong it shouldn't be serious.

He rolled onto his back and stretched a little. "Yeah?" Enzan smiled back up at Blues.

Blues leaned close, as thought he wanted to tell Enzan a secret. He could feel Enzan's breath on his face, warm and soft and even. He thought about just saying it, but...

Blues closed his eyes and kissed Enzan. Sometimes actions are far more eloquent than words.
