Anytime really. I don't have a set schedule exactly. Would tomorrow around 6:00pm be fine for you? Just tell me where. Or if there is a better time, that's fine.
The next day, after explaining to Enzan where he was going, Blues teleported to V2's apartment. He looked around with interest for a moment, then settled his gaze on the navi he considered his brother.
V2 blinked and then sat back against the futon. He looked up a little,
"How can you care about someone like me? I was made to be some sort of replacement to you. Even though I don't compare really/"
He sighed, "I don't get it, Blues. I am a Net Navi, expected to be and act human but then treated like a thing. I am easily thrown aside and my opinions and wants don't matter. At the same time, I get snapped at for not being empathetic enough to someone."
Blues arched an eyebrow at V2, as though silently asking how V2 could even wonder such a thing. "How can I care about you? When the only thing I might have against you is not your fault, why should I not care about you?"
He shook his head. "It sounds to me as though you do not know quite what you want to be thought of as. If you were content being a program, and only a program, you would not care if others valued your opinions and desires. However, if what you want is to be considered equivalent to a human, then you must deal with other people's feelings as well as your own."
Blues hesitated. He wasn't quite certain if it was his place to make this suggestion - but V2 seemed to be having a difficult time coping and Blues didn't think he was qualified to help. "Have you considered finding someone who can help you figure out what you want? Someone with training, who can help you deal with these things?"
An odd sound came from V2 before he clenched down his teeth. Basically biting his own tongue as he decided to avoid saying what was on his mind.
"I don't want to get into a pointless argument, so I am not going to comment about emotions both mine and others."
He relaxed a little, "As for seeing a therapist, that is what you are suggesting correct? Enzan and I talked about the idea briefly but nothing ever came of it. That's when I decided to do some training."
Blues didn't have any idea what V2 might have objected to about emotions, but silently agreed to let it drop for the sake of peace.
"Yes, I am suggesting a therapist. I think it might be good for you to talk to someone with more experience in these types of things." The fact that V2 and Enzan had considered it before was promising. Blues had half feared that the navi would have objected to his suggestion on the grounds that he wasn't "mentally imbalance" and so didn't need a "shrink," or some such argument.
