From the deep depths of the countryside, Greetings
Recently spoke to Paynesgrey and she encouraged me to come back to LJ... so here I am. I don't
know how often I'll be able to post, but I will try. I don't have internet, so I have to go to mom's to get online.
But Silver, you've been gone for over five years, I hear you say. Well, I've been having severe health problems, which has kept me down a lot. I've been fighting for my disability for over three years this time around, and could really use the prayers that it gets pushed through. Having been without a job this entire time, I am really strapped, both for cash and technology... gurr. My external HD just died, and took 1.5T of movies and TV shows with it. *plays Reveille on a kazoo*
I have not stopped writing, though. In 2013 I started spending time at the keyboard again. I can't write for long blocks of time, but I think what I have come up with is fairly good... and honestly I'd love to hear some feedback on it.
Lamentations - A oneshot posted in 2011, but I'd already stopped posting here, so it's included.
The Monster - A Twilight/Inuyasha crossover oneshot. Focuses on Bella and Sesshoumaru... and no, I did NOT condemn him to hell with her as a romantic lead. LOL.
The Basic Rules of Science - a drabble that needs rewriting... I did get better in the Avengers/Inuyasha fandom, but this was my first try at it.
Between Now and Destiny - My first attempt at an honest to God romance. Avengers/Inuyasha with a romance between Kagome and Captain America. Four chapters, 16000ish words! My first short-story length tale.
And To Think That I Saw It On Mulberry Street - As anyone who remembers me may know, I sometimes have to throw off a comedy piece. Kagome being stalked by a number of fandoms, and the Sorting Hat that won her heart. Oneshot.
To Hel With The Gods - A oneshot Avengers/Inuyasha piece. I wanted to play a little with the psychology of long-term prisoners, and this little story was the result. Kagome/Bruce Banner/Hulk.
One Up - I absolutely love the BBC's Sherlock, so this little oneshot came about. Sherlock's the one in the dark when it comes to the new neighbors... and Watson can't help but take pleasure in it. Kagome/Adult!Shippou.
Relish - A series of Avengers/Inuyasha oneshots based off the songs on Joan Osborne's CD 'Relish.' Songfics the way they're supposed to be written, absolutely no blocks of lyrics. This collection is for mature readers only, and most definitely not work safe. Dark themes and sex.
The Paths of Time - Okay, I haven't come near finishing the overall story, but the one-shots are all individual pieces. Kagome is asked by the gods to save the Time Lords, and as a result crosses over lots of fandoms. One-Shot collection, Inuyasha/Doctor Who.
Special Days: A xxxHoLic Duology Two one-shots crossing xxxHoLic and Inuyasha. I'm considering expanding it, since I'm rather in love with my premise.
The Faith Healer - I wanted a 'real' way for Kagome and Tony to meet. Avengers/Inuyasha, Kagome/Adult!Shippou.
Tumble - Kagome takes a tumble into Clint Barton's life. Inuyasha/Hawkeye comic, slight cross with Avengers.
Every Little Thing - My very first full-length story, told in 500 word drabbles. Kagome finds out her dad is Tony Stark, and both their worlds are turned upside down. I'm super-proud of this one! Inuyasha/Avengers, with Kagome/Inuyasha pairing.
Secrets of Inuyoukai - A Sesshoumaru-centric collection of scenes that just never developed into a full story, but fun nevertheless!
The Truth Behind the Tale - What if the Avengers believed in the fable of the Shikon no Tama, but the real story was quite different? Okay, this one is definitely not work safe, and it's not for anyone who is disturbed by American-standard underage sex. I wrote it the way it would happen, not the 'legally correct' way. Cause folks, no one waited in feudal Japan, and not in the U.S. either, until the government went overboard in the past twenty years. So, yes, one of the adults is a very, very bad boy, according to current laws.
The Gods Must Be Crazy - Oneshot, Yu Yu Hakusho/Inuyasha. Everything was going along splendidly, until Enma pulls a rather boneheaded stunt. Now the paperwork's threatened by foxfire, Lady Time's on the warpath, and a full meeting of the gods is in session. I had a lot of fun, causing trouble in a number of realms...
Every Little Thing: Behind the Scenes - This was a story collection of the scenes that didn't make it into Every Little Thing. Unfortunately, a worm ate all my work in 2014 and the rest of the scenes I was going to add were lost.
Second Chances - I should probably take this down... I'm going to rewrite it if I ever feel good enough to, but urg. Naruto/Inuyasha, Naruto/Kagome pairing.
