Without knowing anything about the situation, it sounds like they're trying to hold some kind of power over the two of you. "Oh, we'll let you know when you're ready....." Best of luck to you though. He must mean alot if you're willing to go through all of this traditional nonsense!
As I stated before sister....I think the IDEA is fine but their method of going about it leaves alot to be desired. =(
Also...[this is Collins btw] I would see about making your journal, or at least private posts you might not want yer fella to see, as friends only - so only those ON your friends list are the ones who can actually see the post. On that note...ADD ME TO YOUR FRIENDS! =)
The chances of the bf finding this is fairly remote. And even if he does chances are i've already told him everything i'm rambling about. Not keeping secrets from him...just easier to write things out if i assume he won't be reading it :)
