Alex Grey has an amazing work of art embodied in a multi-faith chapel he created in New York. If you go to the link  click on paintings, then select sacred mirrors. A guy who comes to where I work when he's in town is his representative. He represents artists all over the world and turned me on to him.

It's interesting that the very top of the spiritual mirror is Sophia -- or knowledge. I read a bit about the concept of her a while ago, it's really fascinating.
