I actually go to a Triratna Buddhist Centre (formally the FWBO - founded by Sangharakshita), but Thich Nhat Hanh is my greatest inspiration. I have read many of his books, and personally think he is the wisest person I've ever come across.
Are you part of an Order of Interbeing sangha? Or do you practice on your own?
We belong to Florida Community of Mindfulness... but participate by phone since we live far away. Sometimes I have gone to the Sangha in Asheville NC (Mountain Mindfulness) but where we're currently living, it is hard to get there. How about you? Oh, my husband is OI--he took the 14 trainings a few years ago. Do you have a sangha?
Yes I have been going to my local Triratna Buddhist Centre whenever I've been well enough for over 4 yrs now. I am not formally a member of the sangha as I chose not to become a 'mitra' as it would mean committing myself to the Triratna Buddhist Order when I do not want to. However, I have been going for so long that I consider myself part of the sangha now, and am sure they do to, even if I will not make the step of formally becoming part of it by becoming a mitra.

I saw one of your Robin Hood Fics in a community and I would love to be able to read it, I also love to make friends who I share Fandoms with and as I'm fairly new to Robin Hood( I crashed the first two seasons on netflix) you would be my first friend in the RH universe!

I'm not really a part of the Robin Hood fandom anymore, and so don't talk about RH on my journal.
My journal is now basically full of posts talking about my life, and sometimes posts talking about the TV show Supernatural.
I'll make my fics public if you wanna read them though. Then if you still wanna be friends even though I'm not in the fandom, feel free to friend me and I'll friend back. x
Yep think we do have some stuff in common. And love the look on your journal - I have a thing for silver, for blue, for moonlight. ♥
A fave quote of mine (from a novel):
'He let me go up and made me sit on the divan and he put on some music and turned out the lights and the moon came through the window. It fell on my legs and lap through the skylight, a lovely slow silver moon. Sailing. And he sat down in the armchair on the other side of the room, in the shadows.
It was the music.
The Goldberg Variations. There was one towards the very end that was very slow, very simple, very sad, but so beautiful beyond words or drawing or anything but music, beautiful there in the moonlight. Moon-music, so silvery, so far, so noble

We seem to have a bit in common and you sound like a really nice person. Would it be ok to add you?
