Where have J2 been on my journal lately? I am totes behind in my squeeing!
So besides SPN, I've been doing a spot of J2 viewing lately. And have been intending for ages to do a post full of reviews, and more importantly; pretty pics, following my viewing!
So, without further ado.
Jared Padalecki films/TV shows
Gilmore Girls
Ok so I first watched GG ages ago. But it needs to be mentioned again. GG IS AWESOME. And Jared's character, Dean, is adorable. At the start anyhow. He gets a bit less adorable towards the end. But I still lovez him.
Jared Hotness Rating: 8/10 (Sorry Jared, the early yrs hair, and the way the character develops detracts from rating).
Show Rating: 10/10 (I've now watched the entire of GG three times I think).
Cry_Wolf
Better than I expected (but then I expect little from horror flicks). Interesting story that kept me guessing. However, Jared doesn't play a major role, and his character isn't really developed.
Jared Hotness Rating: 7/10
Show Rating: 5/10
The Christmas Cottage
Again, watched a while back. Totally cheesy film. Only redeeming feature is how hot Jared looks in it.
Jared Hotness Rating: 8/10 (Top marks for appearence, but lost marks for bland character).

Friday the 13th
Ok I expected this to be really lame. And it was. It's just a mindless slasher movie. I watched a fair amount on fast forward as I don't like gore. However, whilst none of the characters were strong, Clay (Jared's character) was the best of a bad lot.
Jared Hotness Rating: 10/10 (Screw character, Jared looks SUPER HOT in this.)

Blonde
Recently watched this on Netflix. Hadn't even heard of it before, but I typed in Jensen's name and this TV show came up. And it was def worth a watch! I skipped a lot of the first half as it has no Jensen in, but when Jensen is in it, he is S.E.X.Y. Not an especially interesting character, but a hot one. And this totally changed my mind on the whole young!Jensen thing. Up until this show I was of the school of thought that young!Jensen wasn't really for me. Well, he was when he was having a threesome with another guy and 'Marilyn Monroe'!
Jensen Hotness Rating: 8.5/10 (Deduction for scenes where he talks to the camera - they are just awful.)
Show rating: 5.5/10 (A shockingly inaccurate portrayal of Marilyn's life. But entertaining if you push that fact aside.)
Dark Angel
Haven't watched much of Dark Angel, as to be honest, it bores me. However, watched quite a few of the eps with Jensen in, and found watching him enjoyable.
Jensen Hotness Rating: 7/10
Show Rating: 4/10
Smallville
Similar to above. Not a fan of the show. Haven't seen much of it, but seen a fair amount of Jensen eps and liked seeing him. Even if his character isn't great.

Ten Inch Hero
Very enjoyable movie. A bit of a teen flick, so doesn't have much substance (and seems like a bit of a rip off of Empire Records to me), but entertaining and funny with some good characters. And Jensen's is the best :) Also, loved seeing Jensen in a comic role. And wearing eyeliner!
Jensen Hotness Rating: 7.5/10 (Jensen is more funny and lovable than hot in this).

My Bloody Valentine 3D
Expected this to be as bad as Jared's slasher. But I did find it a bit better. The storyline is more intriguing than Friday the 13th's, and Jensen's character is much more interesting. Even though I didn't like the gore, and this movie is still just a slasher, it was better than expected.

Show Rating: 3/10 (Would be more if I liked gore!)
