Isn't it rather arrogant to make broad generalizations about who is and who is not "miserable", especially when these generalizations are not even based on a psychological data, but conjecture about which supernatural beings people believe in or worship? I could dispute that claim based on my own personal experiences on either side of the fence. However, I'm guessing you would assume that I'm lying or I've deluded myself. If that is the case, you've basically set up a theoretical framework which is impossible to falsify. I could take any group of people, make any statement about their emotional or spiritual state, and say that those who would give a contrary account are being deceived or are lying. Either way, the accusations are just as unfair and the reasoning is just as poor.

i love listening to other people's stupid drama. a lot of the time its really quite funny. but i think most of the humor comes from the fact that it makes me realize how stable and NOT MISERABLE i am.
