Okay y'all.....(e.g. NATHAN)

HOW do I connect AirPort Express to my Samsung HDTV speakers?? I have one of those mini-to-RCA cables but no matter how I configure the thing, it won't play. Also, headphones work when I plug them into the AirPort.

So you've confirmed that the mini audio-out jack on the Airport Express works by testing it with headphones. Did you try another pair of powered speakers just to be sure it's not a line level issue? The next step would be to test the input to the HDTV speakers. What happens when you plug a CD player or ipod into the cable going to your TV instead of the Airport?

My guess is you won't get anything. That means it's either not plugged into the right thing on the TV or you have to select the right input somehow. I really do suspect that it's not a problem at all with the Airport though. What connections do you have on the back of the TV? Better yet, what model is it? I'm assuming the cable you have is an 8th inch stereo to Right and Left RCA plugs? Similar to this:

Yes, that is the cable I have. Unfortunately, I don't have another pair of powered speakers (I was trying to avoid that part lol!) But the audio will play if my laptop is hooked up to that cable!
