On Enhanced(R) Airline "Security" and Not Feeling Any Safer

PrefaceI have had the luxury of not paying attention to the new and enhanced security measures at airports. Holy crap, Denise. That was impressive as hell! Also, I had no idea you could be harassed like this on your way out West for a visit. I'm so sorry. I did not know what I was asking of you.

I thought it would be worth looking into, considering I am booking soon. It's a choice I am making, because I want to see you and crew West. I am hoping there will be metal-detector lanes and I'm not selected for stronger security checks. I know if I leave from SCE it won't be a problem, and am unsure about Pitt (they have scanners, but I'm not sure if they're trying to scan everyone). I am particularly worried about Phoenix, since they were a pilot site for scanners.

I am hoping, that by the time you travel, adjustments and accommodations will be made. It all seems so "barn door", especially when there are better ways to accomplish security. You have my sympathy, and empathetic anger.
