After 8 months of searching through various agencies... I FINALLY HAVE A JOB! I got hired by the Atlanta Police Department!

So I have decided to do the mature thing and remain friends with her. She still talks to me, and still treats me as kindly as ever. And tonight, for the first time in three days, we chatted. It's been a little more than 24 hours now. 24 hours since she came in here, with the intent of leaving and not coming back. It took 24 hours, but I've been able to finally stomach a small dinner of chicken and rice. All I've eaten since she left was a bowl of Lucky Charms.
