State of the Mod

I hardly ever say anything on this journal anymore (okay...not that I ever have), and I sort of feel like I should. Seeing how I'm supposed to be, you know, a big responsible webmod and everything.

So, it's my last full week of school, and believe it or not, I'm still being assigned essays and lab reports (in greater numbers than I had earlier in ( Read more... )

*huggles* Love you.

So, I know you're (obviously) swamped this week - but let me know a good time to get together.

Gah. Sorry...I've been totally irresponsible about my emails lately and really need to get my act together. What time is good for you? I can manage after 9 PM EST pretty much all days of the week except for Thursday...

This is Erika.

Graduation is the 21st for me, the day right before they throw some half-baked, 3 hour, completely watered-down version of the Prom for 8th graders.

And people are buying corsages. Tcha. For once, though, I think I'm going to bite my jaded tongue and be merry and normal like the other 14 and 15-year olds.

I refuse to buy a corsage, however. That's over-doing it a bit.

:) Not hot around here...well, sometimes. Am dumbfounded by the weather's affection for unpredictability. Normally summer means summer weather, but for '06, it appears differently. Temperatures are shooting from the 50's to the 90's within hours. It's been raining most recently, but today we have sunshine.

It's easy for me, though. I keep my hair over my face, tilt my chin hell-wards, and apply enough SPF to make my skin turn colors. So now I'm chalk white (ironically. I guess I'm just inviting skin cancer) with pounds of SPF Tinted Moisturizer on me, no make-up because it'll rub off, and very mixed up about our coming graduation ( ... )

Burn in helllll, school.

I don't really know why I'm posting this here instead of on your personal Livejournal but, well, I'm tired of writing and stuck up Writing-Block Alley. :(

See you online.

better. ;)
