Saw Golden Compass yesterday with Jesse, Shoshannah, Fox, and Erica. Was pretty good for a book-to -movie sort of thing; obviously they changed some things up and they took the distressing ending out but pretty close. Closer than some of the Harry Potter films ( Read more... )

Oh, and I think this is the first time I've seen you swear in an entry other than some from a year or more ago after returning from a late night of drinking...

My mom crochets a lot. Just saying.

Crochet is fun, and also a cheap gift for female relatives/friends and certain male friends. In fact, Jesse even said he'd wear one I made, so long as it was dark blue lol.

I thought that the swearing was quite apt in that particular statement. Considering I nearly slid off the road twice going a 2.5 miles to the safeway...and that was just the one way. Coming back I made sure to go, oh, 10 mph
