May I ask why there is so little public entries?

Well, someone I knew in real life found my journal and there are certain aspects of my life that I don't tell acquaintances nor am I comfortable with acquaintances knowing. Also, a friend of mine got fired from a job because of things she said in her LiveJournal and I don't want to risk problems with educators, employers, etc. because of things I say in a journal online.
