I've asked my Magic 8 Ball (yes, scientific, I know!) on three different occasions if I will finish everything on my "LIST" before the end of the year and each time it has replied unequivocally "YES." Better get my ass in gear

moosesal had me donate to Food and Friends rather than pay her for a cake once, and they seem like they do great work in your area. Also the Red Cross and Oxfam are favorites.
